EOYC turns procrastinators[1]
into founders

[1] A procrastinator is someone who has already decided, but is simply waiting for a better time to start.

— every founder before they were one

In 2005, starting a company was expensive. Today, the bottleneck is your procrastination to start. EOY Combinator developed a new model of getting things done: Make something by end of year.

EOYC ends on Demo Night on Dec 31. The full cohort is invited to present live and celebrate into New Year's with a resolution that already came true.

We kick your procrastination's a$$

  1. October 1

    Kickoff

Everyone starts. From zero, or from the half-finished idea already sitting in your notes. Main thing is you get started.

  2. October 31

    The Halloween pivot

Kill your zombie. If there is still no traction by now, the idea does not get to make it into November. You pivot, publicly, that week.

  3. November 27

    Black Friday salesathon

A global salesathon, not a hackathon. Whoever closes the most sales wins. Stripe numbers or it didn't happen.

  4. December 31

    End-of-year Demo Night

Five minutes, live product, real numbers even if the number is zero. Then, and only then, the year is allowed to end.

Excuses we have heard

“I'll start next year.”
You said that last year.
“I need to learn one more thing.”
Doing is the fastest way to learn.
“The market isn't ready.”
It never will be.
“I don't have a co-founder.”
AI, AI, baby.
“My idea isn't big enough.”
Size doesn't matter.
“I'm waiting for the right time.”
You already missed it anyways.
“The best time to start a company was last year. The second best time is this year, and the clock is ticking.”

— Claude, advisor and friend of EOYC

Not Yet Co, EOYC

Waited for the perfect idea. Shipped the third-best one in November instead.

It's already too late to start.

At least start something this year still.
